Opinions Paid
Opinionspaid.com is an Australian online community panel website. Members can make their voice heard by participating in online surveys conducted by Australian organisations, with the offer of rewards for their time. It is the online consumer panel venture by leading Australian market research company, Colmar Brunton.
Opinions Paid approached WebXpress with a view to redesigning their website. Not only were they after a new look and feel, but behind the scenes, the website was to integrate with a new database which they had developed, plus allow members to accrue points then select their rewards from an online rewards catalogue instead of the old prize-based incentive scheme.
The final project was a collaborative effort between Opinions Paid, WebXpress and two other partners. While the other partners handled the database and rewards catalogue integration, WebXpress was responsible for integration of our CMSXpress system, which allowed Opinions Paid staff to maintain website content themselves. In addition, WebXpress modified the CMSXpress installation to successfully integrate with the proprietary database and rewards systems, achieving seamless integration.
The final result was a website running from multiple servers, using cutting edge technologies such as web services for communication, yet presented as one cohesive site to the thousands of members who use it.
