Central Storage

A single storage location means scaleable and simple data protection.  Upload your assets to one location from anywhere in your organisation, or from anywhere in the world.  Then connect to and acquire the latest documents when and where you need them, empowering your employees to have the most up-to-date information.  This is the key to the AssetXpress system.

Document Security

Online searchable asset libraries put an organisation's data at the fingertips of it's employees.  Today's organisations, however, demand tighter security and better auditing of their sensitive information.

Using the built in security features of AssetXpress, employees are only able to view or edit the files they have been granted access to.  This access can be based on the category the asset is in, or the individual file.

Inbuilt audit trails let you know exactly who as accessed an asset, when, and how they retrieved it (downloaded, printed, emailed, or just viewed).

24/7 Searchable Access

Access to the asset library is as easy and as accessible as an organisation requires, and can be accessed both internally over an intranet, or externally from the internet.  The AssetXpress search mechanism is lightning fast, even with thousands of files in the database.  In today's environment complete unhindered access is everything.

Version Control

The AssetXpress system goes even further, by allowing users to upload not only their organisation's assets, but to keep different versions of the same asset.  This allows a time-saving way to upload new asset versions, and to remove the clutter of multiple similar assets from the database.

Multiple Delivery Methods

Unlike traditional systems, AssetXpress allows users to do more than just download the asset.  They may also have it emailed to them, burnt to a CD, printed, or a combination of all four.  The user may also request multiple copies, and specify a date for delivery.

Completely Customisable

Administrators have full control over the customisation of their system, with customisation of the categories, sorting structure of the assets, as well as pages and functions that each group of users can access.  This functionality gives AssetXpress the flexibility to suit any business.

Notes

While assets are readily searchable, users are free to leave notes regarding assets (assuming they have been provided with access).  This is useful for collecting feedback regarding your assets, and aid you in improving them in the future.

Usability is the primary design directive.  With this in mind, AssetXpress has been designed to be so easy that a user may locate and download an asset in as little as 3 clicks.

Client Extranet

By creating a group and user account for your clients, then giving them access to only specific assets, you can enable your clients to log in and view their very own client extranet, enabling them to review and comment on documents and files.
